My Story

I am a single mum to two beautiful girls and a puppy. I am an entrepreneur, business owner, CrossFitter and a lifelong Yogi. I like good food (the more veg the better!), crafting, being outside in vast spaces. I like to explore what my body can achieve and enjoy cuddles on the sofa with my gang, learning parenting lessons from Bluey (if you know, you know).

In the professional world, I have 12 years experience in Local Government (Insurance, Finance and Procurement). I qualified as a Yoga Teacher back in 2015, and then a Life Coach in 2022 before taking this a step further and qualifying as an NLP Master Practitioner in 2023.

Over the last few years I have been through a lot; divorce, two house moves, major surgery, another separation, losing a family member to cancer, quitting my job (twice), and studying to become qualified as a life coach & NLP practitioner. This doesn't include all the times the car broke down, the washing machine leaked, the girl's were unwell, sleeping in for flights and goodness knows what all else!

Life has been full on, stressful some may say, but throughout all of this, I have managed to stay in my default mood, "Happy". How? I hear you ask - through simple habits, practices, mindset techniques that keep my head clear and my feet firmly on the ground.

Have I felt sad? Yes.

Have I felt overwhelmed? Yes.

Have I felt angry? Yes.

Something would be wrong if I hadn’t - we are supposed to feel all these emotions. What I don’t do, is allow these emotions to consume my days, weeks and months. I feel the emotions, process them and then return back to 'Happy'.

What I practise, is what I coach.

Supporting others is where I thrive. It comes natural to me, and it is what I live for. Being a part of someone's journey for a better life is an honour, whether it is anxiety that has consumed their day to day living, or someone striving to achieve a specific goal.

In 2023, I quit my "day job" to go all in on my own venture in the online coaching world; working with mums who had lost their sense of identity. This is where I really found my love for coaching. The transformations were unbelievable (check out the testimonials!).

My mission is to unlock individual happiness, creating a domino effect of happiness for all of us.

If we learn how to manage our thoughts, recognise triggers and understand why we repeat negative behaviour again and again, we can make simple changes for a better future. We can't stop the car breaking down, or the children getting sick, losing people we love, break up’s, tough days coming, or how other people behave towards us...but we can control how we react, think and respond.

Just like continuing efforts at the gym to tend to our bodies and fitness levels, our minds need the same effort, love and attention to work and behave just as we wish them to.

This comes with repeated practice and time,

but I can assure you,

it is possible to be happy in your own head.
